Rockport Police/Fire

ROCKPORT — Residents are not the only ones who seem interested in the proceedings of the Cape Ann Tool Company and Pigeon Cove.

Police said they received a report of deer swimming in Pigeon Cove around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Police also recovered a puppy with a leash and no owner attached on Summer Street Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., police said the animal was handed over to the animal control officer.

An elderly man who fell Thursday was assisted by the police around 5:15 a.m. on Squam Road, but the man refused medical transport.

A false alarm rang through a Wallace Road residence Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
