Rockport Police/Fire: Danvers man facing driving charge

ROCKPORT — Police arrested a 43-year-old Danvers man Saturday at 10 a.m. for allegedly driving on a suspended license.

Police said Michael Raymond of Locust Street in Danvers was stopped on Mount Pleasant Street.

A two-car accident in the area of Sand Piper Lane and Thatcher Road resulted in no injuries on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., police said.

Sunday at 10:50 a.m., police addressed a diving class on Pebble Beach near Penzance Road about getting proper permitting.

Saturday, two people running in a road race were transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

One runner was transported at 12:20 p.m. from Atlantic Avenue and another 10 minutes later on Seagull Street, police said.

Saturday at 3 p.m. a man from Bradley Wharf was taken to the Gloucester hospital, a woman from Quarry Ridge Lane was also transported at 6 p.m.

Police said firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide detector on Dean Road Sunday just past 11 a.m., but officers found that the detectors were faulty.

Sunday just before 4 p.m., a Dock Square patron called to report loud music being played by a musician. Police said the music was at a reasonable level and the musician had all the proper permits.

Police responded to an open door at a Whistlestop Mall business, but everything appeared to be in order Monday at 1:30 a.m., police said.
