Rockport Police/Fire: Child's game spurs missing person report

ROCKPORT — A Pooles Lane resident called police at 3:15 p.m. Thursday to report a missing child.

When police arrived, they found the child, who was playing hide and seek, officers said.

The sign over a Bearskin Neck business was struck by a delivery truck at 12:45 p.m. Friday. There were no injuries, however, and no damage to the sign.

An illegally parked car was reported on Marshall Street at 12:52 p.m. Friday. The car was ticketed, police said.
