Essex Police/Fire: Suspicious person reported

Essex Police/Fire

ESSEX — A resident reported a suspicious person on Town Farm Road on Monday.

The call came in shortly before 1 p.m. Monday. When police went to Town Farm Road to investigate, the officer discovered the person was a representative from the U.S. Census Bureau.

A male Indian Rock Lane resident was transported to Beverly Hospital at 8:09 Tuesday morning.
