MANCHESTER — A 6-year-old girl on Rosedale Avenue was transported to Beverly Hospital at 12:27 a.m. Thursday, with flu-like symptoms.

There was a report of a transformer explosion on Currier Street at 6:44 a.m. Thursday. No fire was reported.

Firefighters responded to the smell of smoke at an Atwater Avenue establishment at 7:13 a.m. Thursday.

An odor of natural gas was reported at 7:33 a.m. yesterday on Newport Park.

At 1:33 p.m. yesterday, a women resident a The Plains was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital.

A large pothole was reported on Pine Street at Rockwood Height Road. The Department of Public Works was dispatched to fix it.

The Fire Department responded to three false alarms, on Pinewood Road at 3:23 a.m., Rockwood Heights Road at 8:30 a.m. and Woods Hole Road at 8:42 a.m. yesterday. All were caused by power outages.
