Youth Commission plans 'turkey hunt'

ESSEX — Today is the deadline to sign up for a chance to win a free Thanksgiving turkey.

The Essex Youth Commission is giving away four real turkeys to four people who find are smart enough to follow a series of clues and find four fake birds hidden around town.

Participants in the "Amazing Turkey Hunt" will meet at Town Hall at 2 p.m. where they will each receive a packet of clues leading to a fake turkey.

Those finding a fake one will be awarded a certificate for a free turkey upon their return to Town Hall.
