MANCHESTER — At 6:53 a.m. Thursday, a male was transported to Beverly Hospital from Summer Street.

A female was transported to the Beverly Hospital emergency room from Desmond Avenue at 5:41 p.m. Wednesday.

Between Exit 16 and 15 on Route 128 north, the Fire Department responded to a car which supposedly had its engine on fire at 2:56 p.m. Wednesday. The fire was out when responders arrived.

Two deer were hit Thursday morning on Route 128. on at 4:53 and another at 7. MassHighway was notified.
