Arrest

Dwayne Ortiz, 42, of 127 Concord St., Gloucester, was arrested yesterday on an outstanding warrant. Ortiz turned himself in to police at 1:50 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents

An East Main Street man was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital by rescue squad after he had a seizure while driving on Bass Avenue. A passing vehicle's side window was clipped in the incident.

A Pleasant Street woman was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital by rescue squad at 12:10 a.m. yesterday.

Six vehicles were broken into in a downtown Gloucester neighborhood sometime Wednesday night or yesterday morning. According to police reports, two vehicles on Friend Street, two on Perkins Street and two on Green Street were entered. A digital camera and golf clubs were taken from a Perkins Street vehicle while loose change was taken from the others. Police have no suspects.

Police were called to Grant Circle at 11:10 a.m. yesterday for reports of a motor vehicle accident. When police arrived on scene the parties were already exchanging information; there were no reported injuries.
