Arrest

A Gloucester man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after he was found hiding in the basement of a Patriots Circle home.

Police received information that Joshua R. Spada, 32, of no known address, Gloucester, was hiding in the home. He was arrested at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Incidents

An 80-year-old Warner Street woman said she was not hurt after she drove her car onto the wall in the City Hall parking lot at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police reports, the woman told police she was going around another vehicle and when she attempted to stop, the car kept moving. Her damaged vehicle was towed from the scene.

The sides of two vehicles driven by two Gloucester residents were damaged after they collided on Grant Circle at 5:35 p.m Tuesday.

According to police reports, the two vehicles crashed when one driver was trying to exit the rotary while the other was staying on. There were no reported injuries, and no citations were issued.

A Veterans Way woman reported to police at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday that the tires on her car were slashed and her car was "keyed." The woman gave police the name of a possible suspect, but she had no proof that the person was guilty, police said.

A Gloucester woman reported to police at 3:25 p.m. yesterday that three purchases worth over $700 were fraudulently made on her bank card. Police are investigating the incident.
