A 22-year-old Gloucester woman charged with heroin possession had her case continued without a finding for six months by Judge Joseph Jennings in Gloucester District Court yesterday.
The charge stems from an incident on Jan. 6 when Shara Agostino, of 35R Elm St., was found passed out in the bathroom by her fellow employees at the Magic Scarf on Pond Road. According to the police report, Agostino was awake and alert when rescuers arrived on scene; she told police that she had shot heroin and "nodded out."
Drug paraphernalia including a spoon, several needles, and cotton swabs were found around her inside the women's bathroom.
Agostino was ordered to undergo random drug screenings and assessed $50 in court costs.
A 30-year-old Ipswich man charged with two counts of violating a restraining order had his case dismissed upon request of the Commonwealth yesterday.
Christopher T. Turner, of Ipswich Heights, faced charges stemming from incidents on April 28 and June 13.
