Mother of Grace events set to open tonight

The annual feast in honor of Mother of Grace Club kicks off tonight, with Italian music, a benediction service and the annual procession and concert all set to run through Sunday, centered on Gloucester’s Mother of Grace Club at 48 Washington St.

The annual celebration begins tonight with Italian music from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., while a High Mass in conjunction with the weekend festival is slated for Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Ann Church.

The club will host an afternoon rosary program Saturday at 1 and an evening rosary Saturday starting at 7, with music by Jim Geary and the band to follow Saturday night from 7 to 10.

The feast will climax on Sunday, with a benediction service at 2 p.m., followed by a procession and band concert at the club, and closing with a candlelight procession at 8:45 p.m.
