Rockport Police/Fire: Haverhill man arrested on warrant

ROCKPORT — Jason Trimmins, 29, of Haverhill was arrested by local officers Saturday on a warrant from Haverhill District Court.

The warrant was for failure to appear in court; he was released on personal recognizance.

Police responded to High Street at 11:05 p.m. Friday to investigate a noise complaint. They found two people arguing and sent them on their way

Police responded to a report of a hit and run accident on Broadway at 1:05 p.m. Saturday. A car, police reports say, struck a motor vehicle parked on the street. Police spoke to both the driver and the owner of the parked motor vehicle; no charges had been filed as of press time.

Rockport Ambulance transported a Main Street resident to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester on Sunday at 2:10 p.m.
