Essex Police/Fire: Speedy landscapers draw complaint

Essex Police/Fire

ESSEX — Police said a Western Avenue resident called town police at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday to complain about a Gloucester landscaping company that the resident claims has been driving fast down the street.

Police said the resident spoke with the company, which promised to tell its drivers to slow down.

A burglar alarm sounded Wednesday just after 10 p.m. at Centennial Grove, but responding officers said the building was found to be secure.
