Arrests

Police arrested a Gloucester woman Tuesday at 10:57 p.m. after responding to a report of a domestic disturbance on Veterans Way.

Alexandria Labadie, 25, of 40 Veterans Way, Gloucester, faces charges of domestic assault and battery.

A 30-year-old woman told police Labadie threw her down and dragged her across the floor, causing an abrasion on her elbow, police said.

Police arrested Diana Smith, 47, of 515 The Heights, Gloucester on charges of disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime Tuesday at 5:06 p.m. after responding to a report of a dispute between neighbors.

Police charged a 16-year-old girl with larceny yesterday at 2:18 p.m. after responding to a report of a shoplifter at Walgreens on Rogers Street.

The girl allegedly took hair straightener and other facial care products worth around $80, police said.

Incidents

Police responded to Oval Park on Centennial Avenue at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a child carrying a rifle. Upon arrival, officers found two men shooting a pellet gun at cups placed on a fence. The men stopped shooting.

Police received a report Tuesday at 7:06 p.m. from a man on Thurston Point who said someone had smashed the bilge pump and hull of his Chris Craft boat with an anchor while it was tied up to a dock. The incident is under investigation.

Police and rescuers responded to Prospect Street yesterday at 3:07 p.m. after a car collided with a motor scooter and dragged it 25 feet.

The car was turning left onto Prospect Street from Ben's Paint and did not see the scooter, according to police.

The driver of the motor scooter refused transport to the hospital.
