Fish landings

Gloucester Seafood Display Auction

The Gloucester Seafood Display Auction handled 68,800 pounds of fish on Friday.

The average price per pound of the top five species sold:

Pollock: 47,800 pounds (39 cents)

Market cod: 8,900 pounds ($1.58)

Medium and small pollock: 3,400 pounds (39 cents)

Large cod: 1,800 pounds ($2.06)

Haddock: 1,600 pounds ($2.06)

Other landings

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford handled 42,000 pounds of fish yesterday.

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in Boston handled 24,300 pounds of fish yesterday.

No landings were reported at the New England Fish Exchange Auction in Boston yesterday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 13,400 pounds of fish Tuesday.
