Essex police/fire

ESSEX — Police received a report at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday that a car had front-end damage after striking a deer on John Wise Avenue. The driver reported no injuries, and the car was towed.

An ambulance transported a man from Chebacco Terrace to Beverly Hospital on Wednesday morning.

There was a report at 7:23 a.m. Thursday that a car parked at a business on Scot's Way had a smashed window. Nothing appeared to be stolen from the vehicle.
