Holiday toy drive today

State Sen. Bruce Tarr, R-Gloucester, and North Shore 104.9 are hitting the road today for their annual North Shore Holiday toy drive.

The drive will begin at 6:30 a.m. in Lynn and will conclude at 6:30 p.m. in Gloucester. As always, the North Shore Harbormasters Association will be on hand to assist with the live broadcast over North Shore 104.9.

Toys being collected for Action Inc. will be collected from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Woodman's of Essex, 121 Main St., Essex; from 2 to 3 p.m. at Manchester Athletic Club, 8 Atwater Ave., Manchester, and from 5 to 6 p.m. at Cape Ann Savings Bank, 109 Main St., Gloucester.

Toys for Pathways of Gloucester will be collected from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Tuck's Candy, 15 Main St., Rockport.
