ROCKPORT — A Granite Street woman was arrested Saturday after police responded to a medical emergency call at 4:01 a.m.
Shoshana A. Frost, 27, of 212 Granite St., was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester with a head injury, and later arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property over $250.
An employee of Cumberland Farms reported vandalism to the store at 10:16 a.m. Friday. Police reviewed surveillance video footage which showed someone throwing a brick through the window of the building at 3:21 a.m. There are no suspects in the case, but police continue to investigate the crime.
A Tuna Wharf resident reported that it appeared that someone tried to break into her home, but failed. She reported the attempted break-in at 2:43 p.m. Saturday.
At 1:38 p.m. Friday, a Granite Street resident reported vandalism. Someone had let the air out of the person's car tires.
The Fire Department responded to a false alarm at a Marmion Way residence at 3:08 p.m. Friday; a carbon monoxide detector activation at a Forest Street home at 12:23 p.m. Sunday; and a false alarm at Rockport High School at 1:13 p.m. Sunday.
Rescuers transported a female diver who wasn't feeling well from Back Beach to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester at 7:36 p.m. Friday. At 4:10 p.m. Friday, rescuers transported a woman who fell and hit her head on the sidewalk near the construction site of the Shalin Liu Performance Center on Main Street.
Rescuers also transported women from Millbrook Park and Gott Street to the hospital on Friday; men from Forest Street and T-Wharf and a Millbrook Park woman to the hospital on Saturday; and a Twin Light Circle man to the hospital at 8:04 p.m. Sunday.
