MANCHESTER — The fire department received a call for medial aid at 9:59 p.m. Friday to 102 Summer St. One person was transported to Beverly Hospital.
The fire department responded to 21 Hickory Hill Road at 10:16 p.m. Friday to investigate an outside odor of smoke. Nothing was found and the area was secured.
Authorities were called to investigate a disemboweled deer found near School and North streets at 4:57 a.m. Saturday. Officials think it was mauled by another animal, possibly a coyote.
Rescue crews responded to The Plains, off of Old Essex Road, for a medical emergency at 12:06 p.m. Saturday. One person was taken to Addison-Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.
The fire department received an alarm for heavy black smoke at 8 Hidden Ledge Road at 1:32 p.m. Saturday. No damage was caused and the area was secured.
Police received a report of a bonfire on Singing Beach at 10:07 p.m. Officers responded to the scene and asked to have the fire put out, and the youths did so without any problems.
Police received a report of loud fireworks near Pine Street and Pleasant Street at 11:40 p.m. Saturday. Officers responded but saw and heard nothing in the area.
An injured party at 48 Northwood Ave. called for medical aid at 3:33 p.m. Sunday, but the person refused transport once authorities arrived.
Crews were called to 12 Central St. at the police station at 8:55 p.m. Sunday but treatment and transport were refused by the reporting party.
A call for medical aid was reported at 7:52 yesterday morning from 7 Hidden Ledge Road. One person was transported to Beverly Hospital.
