Rockport Police/Fire: Rockport woman faces drunken driving charge

ROCKPORT — A 58-year-old Jerdens Lane woman was charged with drunken driving Sunday evening, after police pulled her vehicle over on Summer Street.

Police said Nancy Cook was arrested about 7:07 p.m. Police stopped her after receiving a report of an erratic operator in the area and watching Cook’s vehicle cross back and forth between lanes.

Police responded to and checked a Main Street building and determined the building was secure after a burglar alarm sounded about 8:13 a.m. Saturday.

A Grove Point man was transported to Beverly Hospital Sunday about 4:30 p.m., according to police, while a Squam Hill Road resident was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital Sunday about 2:58 p.m., according to police.
