Rockport Police/Fire: Aquarium retrieves dead seal pup from beach

ROCKPORT — Rockport police received a report of a dead seal pup on Prebble Beach Saturday at about 10:47 a.m.

Police notified New England Aquarium officials, who removed the dead seal from the beach, according to police.

Police received a report of a missing bicycle at 4:08 p.m. Sunday. The owner said the pink Schwinn bike, which was last seen a week ago, was stolen from outside of a residence on Sandy Bay Terrace.SClBA man reported the theft of some $800 worth of property he said was taken from his towel where he left it while swimming in the quarries, police said.

The man reported a stolen camera, camera lens, glasses, and cash, according to police. Police said there are no suspects at this time.
