Rockport Police/Fire: Gunshots reported near Johnson's Quarry

ROCKPORT — Police responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Johnson’s Quarry Thursday at around 3:30 p.m.

But officers who searched the area found it to be secure.

Friday morning, just before 7, police received reports of a pony loose off Prospect Street, but officers who responded could not locate the animal.

Friday at 6:58 a.m., a female Broadway resident was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.
