Gloucester Police/Fire: Four Loko helps land woman in AGH

Gloucester Police/Fire

A 26-year-old Friend Street woman found “highly intoxicated” and “passed out” in a Veterans Way yard Wednesday about 11:35 a.m., was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital for treatment.

The woman, who introduced herself by inserting “Miss” before her first name, told police that she drank a “Four Loko.” Ten minutes prior to police finding the intoxicated woman, officers had taken a report of a woman stumbling on Washington Street near Grove Street.

Police are seeking charges against a 50-year-old Main Street man who “failed to pay (his) meal and bar tab” at Topside Grill & Pub.

Officers responded after receiving a report of a person “not able to pay for his meal” at the restaurant and bar Wednesday about 11 p.m., according to police reports.
