Rockport Police/Fire: Gas leak draws National Grid response

ROCKPORT — Police received a report of gas leaking in the area of Long Beach Monday at 12:20 p.m.

By the time police arrived, however, a crew from National Grid had already arrived at the scene to fix the problem.

Tuesday at 1:18 a.m., police received a noise complaint stemming from a Granite Street residence. Police said the people simply returned to their homes.

Monday at 2:20 p.m., a man at the Whistlestop Mall was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

At 6:40 p.m. Monday, police said, a male from Station Square was also transported to AGH.
