Manchester Police/Fire: Dead dolphin washed ashore

---- — MANCHESTER — Police said a dolphin reportedly washed onto a beach off Smith’s Point Monday around 9:30 a.m.

The dolphin was confirmed as dead when it washed up. The New England Aquarium was notified.

Police said gunshots were heard in the area of Raymond Street Sunday just after 1:15 p.m. Police responded, but could not hear any gunshots when they arrived.

Police gave a lift to a woman who lives off School Street when she was walking along Central Street Saturday just after 2 a.m.
