Manchester Police/Fire: Transports keep crews busy

---- — MANCHESTER — Medical calls have kept Manchester police, firefighters and paramedics busy over the past few days.

On Tuesday at 9:22 a.m., an elderly female fell at home on Forester Road and was transported to Beverly Hospital.

Tuesday at 1:20 p.m., a student at the Manchester Essex Regional High School fell off a stage was transported to Beverly Hospital, while on Wednesday at 9:17 a.m., a male Powder House Lane resident was transported to Beverly Hospital.

Police and firefighters were initially called to respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a car had swerved off the road and into the woods off Upper School Street.

Manchester police, however, said that the car had crossed the Essex town line, where Essex police were dealing with the situation around 8 a.m. on Monday.
