Athletes spread awareness

A group of student-athletes at Gloucester High School are using their status as role models to pass on positive messages.

The students, part of Gloucester High’s Youth Awareness Program, visited Beeman Elementary School recently to talk with pupils about a variety of topics, ranging from recycling to health and exercise.

On Friday, the student-athletes’ presentations were to be taped for the superintendent’s television program, to be shown on Cape Ann Television.
