Rockport Police/Fire: Medical calls keep crews busy

ROCKPORT — Police, firefighters and the town’s ambulance corps received numerous calls for medical transports over the holiday weekend.

Four people were taken to Addison Gilbert on Saturday. A male Sandy Bay estates resident was transported at 1:54 a.m., a Toomey Lane female was taken to the hospital at 4:45 a.m., a female Summer Street resident was transported at 5:52 a.m. and a Boulder Top resident was taken to the hospital at 11:47 a.m.

On Sunday, three people were taken to the hospital. At 12:30 a.m., a female Thatcher Road resident was taken to Addison Gilbert Hospital, at 8:38 a.m., a Main Street resident was transported, and, at 2:15 p.m. a female Horace Street resident was taken to AGH as well.

Police responded to a domestic dispute on Thatcher Road Sunday at 10:15 p.m.

Police found the incident to be a verbal argument, with one person agreeing not to return to the residence for the rest of the night. But there were no charges filed.

At 10:49 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a noise complaint on Dock Square; police said the residents were quiet by the time they arrived.
