---- — MANCHESTER — A city man is facing multiple charges after his arrest early Saturday morning.

According to police, officers noticed Jonathan Bamberg, 31, of Green Street in Gloucester was stopped by police on Pine Street at 1:40 a.m. Saturday. He is being charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, his third such offense.

He was transported to Middleton Jail with his bail set at $1,040 pending his arraignment in Salem District Court.

A man from Myrtle Beach, S.C., was stopped on Route 128 southbound after reports of an erratic operator on Saturday at 7:16 p.m.

Anthoney Eugenio, 68, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was held with a $40 bail and was released.

Fireworks were reported in the area of Harold Street Saturday shortly after 7 p.m., but police could not find anything when they arrived.
