Rockport Police/Fire: Burglar alarm rings false

ROCKPORT — A residential alarm sounded off on Doctor’s Run at 4:50 p.m. on Thursday.

Responding officers found the building to be secure when they arrived.

At 3:40 p.m. Thursday, a commercial fire alarm went off at Cape Hedge Inn; it was a false alarm.

Thursday night around 10:50, a female King Street resident was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.
