---- — MANCHESTER — A Beverly woman was arrested on a warrant after being stopped on Pine Street in Manchester Monday at 5:36 p.m.

Joyce Knowlton, 36 of Beverly Commons, was stopped after operating with a suspended license and served with her warrant Monday night.

She was released Monday night on bail, according to Manchester police.

Salem District Court officials said the warrant was for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Monday at 12:47 p.m., police were notified of a trash barrel in the middle of Route 128 northbound. Responding officers, however, could not find anything when they arrived.

Police were notified of an injured duck near Chapel Lane at 11:46 a.m. on Monday. Police said the animal control officer reported the injury was not life-threatening; the mallard had a small crack in its beak.
