Manchester Police/Fire: Drivers uninjured in Beach Street hit-and-run

---- — MANCHESTER — Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the area of Beach Street.

According to police, one driver did not realize he had backed up into another car. Police spoke to both parties who exchanged paperwork. There were no medical transports, however, and the cars were not towed.

Police received reports of a loose dog in the area of Summer Street and University Lane just before 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The Department of Public Works was notified about sanding streets throughout Manchester around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
