Essex Police/Fire: Police field hit-and-run report

ESSEX — Tuesday at 2 p.m., a person involved in an earlier hit-and-run accident on Pickering Street called police to report the incident.

According to police, the person filing the complaint knew the identity of the other driver was and just wanted the accident reported. Police did not indicate that any charges have been filed.

Four drivers were asked to move their cars which were parked on private property on Western Avenue around 10:30 Tuesday night.
