Rockport Police/Fire: Open door worries neighbor

ROCKPORT — A Harrington Avenue resident phoned police Tuesday at 2 p.m. when she noticed a neighbor’s door was open.

According to police, the woman did not believe anyone was staying in the house at the time. Police arrived and searched the area, only to discover that a storm door had been blown inward. No one was found at the scene.

Tuesday night at 8:17 p.m., police received a report of arching wires on South Street. When police arrived, they did not spot any arching or sparking wires.

A female Millbrook Park resident was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Later that night around 8:30, a male Millbrook Park resident was also transported to the Gloucester hospital.
