Rockport Police/Fire: Package reported missing, but it was delivered

ROCKPORT — A Prospect Street woman called police at 1:58 p.m. Monday to report that a delivery she was expecting was never delivered.

Police found, however, that, according to United Parcel Service, the package was delivered on Dec. 2, 2011. Police said they are not investigating further.

The Fire Department was called to a Summit Avenue for a carbon monoxide detector going off at 3:15 p.m. Monday. Responding firefighter, however, did not fine any leaks or detect the presence of gas at the scene.
