The car of an O'Maley Middle School school teacher was vandalized Tuesday night, Gloucester police said Wednesday.
According to the police report, the teacher found salad dressing poured over her car and an egg smashed into her windshield while the vehicle was parked outside her home.
She told police that she suspected three girls, saying the girls had been involved in a similar incident in the past. Police spoke to the girls with their parents, but the report did not indicate whether any charges have been filed.
Possible scam
A Ledge Road woman called police at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday to report she had received a call from someone looking to gather personal information about her.
The caller claimed to be from Walgreen's, the woman said, and asked for information, including her birthday.
Walgreen's representatives, however, told police they were not calling customers to ask for that information.
Police said that anyone who receives a similar call should not give out any personal information.
