Rockport Police/Fire: Granite Street vandalism probed

ROCKPORT — Police are investigating a reported case of vandalism at the site of a vacant business on Granite Street.

The vandalism at 325 Granite St. was reported to police at 9:31 a.m. Thursday. Officers did not have more specifics on the extent of any damage.

Firefighters responded to an alarm at the town’s water filtration plant Wednesday at 2:06 p.m., according to police. Police said the alarm was triggered by storm winds.
