Rockport Police/Fire: Woman who jumps from car escapes injury

ROCKPORT — Police responded to a possible domestic disturbance Thursday just before 1 p.m. with a report that a Rockport woman had jumped out of a moving car.

Responding officers said the woman had no injuries, and that there had been just a verbal, not physical, dispute between her and someone else in the car. There were no charges filed.

Vandalism was reported in the resident parking lot along Broadway at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police said the incident, which involved the scratching of a car with a key, could have happened as early as Wednesday.

A man from Dean Road was taken to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester Thursday at 9 p.m., later, at 9:50 p.m. a man from Tarrs Lane was also taken to the hospital.
