---- — A 41-year-old Trask Street man was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery Friday morning, after a woman at his home told police he bumped her with his chest then picked up a table and “smashed it.”
Jeffrey Furtado denied striking the woman, but admitted to smashing the table, and police arrested him about 9:30 a.m.
Police arrested a 37-year-old Centennial Avenue man on a drunken driving charge and a marked lanes violation Friday about 2:10 a.m.
Ian J. Allison’s blood alcohol level tested at 0.14 after his arrest, according to police, above the Massachusetts legal limit of 0.08.
Police had stopped him on Route 128 in the northbound lane near Exit 12 after noticing he was driving slowly, “weaving” regularly, then driving straddling the center line for about 100 yards.
Joseph L. Curcuru, 38, was arrested Thursday about 9:43 p.m., after he returned to a Prospect Street home from which police had told him to stay away for the night.
Police charged Curcuru with domestic assault and arrested him for trespassing back on the property of a woman whom he threatened to kill. Police said he returned five minutes after officials had told him to leave for the night.
A woman who works inside the Fitz Hugh Lane House noticed a second story window broken Friday about 11 a.m., and reported the broken window to police and the Department of Public Works.
Police found broken glass “all over” the floor and a rock on the floor matching the size of the window’s hole. Police said the rest of the building appeared undamaged.
