Essex Police/Fire: Man taken to hospital after parking lot call

ESSEX — A man police described as “confused” was apparently trying to open car doors in a Story Street parking lot Wednesday around 10 a.m.

Police said it was a medical-related issue, and that the man was later transported to Beverly Hospital.

Police, acting on a well-being check, responded to a Wood Drive residence at 5:30 a.m. on Friday. Police said a couple had a verbal disagreement, and that one of the people involved left the residence, but there was no physical confrontation and no charges filed.

Police said some vandalism was reported on Martin Street near Walnut Park Road Friday at 1 a.m. Police said somebody likely spray painted a section of the road.

An Eastern Avenue man was taken to Beverly Hospital Thursday around 3:30 a.m.

A man was also transported to the hospital from Main Street at 7:21 p.m. on Wednesday.
