Gloucester Police/Fire: Ipswich driver charged after rotary rollover

Gloucester Police/Fire

State police arrested an Ispwich woman Monday night after the vehicle she was driving rolled over on Grant Circle at about 8 p.m.

Robin Howe, 50, was charged with drunken driving and a marked lanes violation. State police said there were no passengers in Howe’s vehicle, which rolled over into another car, witnesses have told the Times. The driver of that car was transported to the hospital.

State police initially did not report the involvement of the other vehicle.

Police transported an “unresponsive” 59-year-old man from the Jodrey State Fish Pier to Addison Gilbert Hospital Monday about 8:39 p.m.

Officers learned later Monday night that the man was breathing at the hospital, “but in no condition to talk.”

Gloucester police assisting Hull police arrested a Christopher Remillard, 18, at his Friend Street home Monday about 6 p.m. on a warrant.
