MANCHESTER — A Gloucester man was charged with driving on a revoked license at 9:07 a.m. Thursday after police stopped his car on Route 128 North in the area of the School Street exit.

John Sutera, 35, of 10 Riggs Ave., will be summoned to court to face the charge, police said. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

The Manchester Rescue Squad transported a woman with a fractured pelvis to Salem Hospital at 5:04 Wednesday afternoon.

The Fire Department responded to a smoke detector alarm at a Harbor Street home at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday. Firefighters determined the false alarm had been triggered by a malfunction.
