Tuesday

Conservation Commission, 7:30 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library.

School Committee, 7:30 p.m., Library, Manchester Essex Regional Middle and High School.

Wednesday

Selectmen, 7:30 p.m., Library, Manchester Essex Regional Middle and High School.

School Building Committee and its Concession SubCommittee, 7 a.m., Superintendent's Conference Room, Manchester Essex Regional Middle/High School.

Long Term Planning Committee, 7 p.m., Meeting Room, Fire Station.

Thursday

Board of Health, 6:30 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library.

Friday

Board of Selectmen, 9 a.m., TOHP Burnham Library.

Wellspring honors women

Wellspring House of Gloucester held its 14th Annual Women Honoring Women Luncheon earlier this month with over 670 in attendance.
This year's honorees were long-time Wellspring volunteer Betsy Brown of Manchester, The Open Door's Executive Director Julie LaFontaine of Essex, and Barbara Lynch, one of Boston's and the country's leading chefs and restaurateurs. Lynch also was the keynote speaker.

City drops Maplewood price tag to $100K

With a lower price tag and slightly looser requirements, the Maplewood School building will head back out for bids for the sixth time since the city put it on the block eight years ago.
The schoolhouse picked up one bid the last time the city put it out.
