Rockport Police/Fire: Woman, 69, faces Rockport DUI charges

ROCKPORT — A 69-year-old Rockport woman was arrested for drunken driving and driving under the influence of drugs, among other charges, Monday about 2:13 p.m., according to police.

Patricia Lambert of Prides Lane was arrested after a person called police to report an erratic driver on Quarry Road.

Police caught up to Lambert on Quarry Street. But police said the woman, charged with failing to stop for police, continued driving for about a half mile after the cruiser began signaling her to pull over.

Lambert faces a charge for drunken driving, another charge for driving under the influence of drugs, driving in a way that could endanger others, operating with a revoked license, failing to stop for police, and failing to drive within marked lanes.
