Rockport Police/Fire: Caller makes noise about loud car

ROCKPORT — A Marmion Way resident drives a loud car, says an area neighbor who is making some noise about it.

Police said they received another noise complaint, the second in two weeks, regarding the loud vehicle, which the caller says is driven by Marmion Way resident. The caller made the latest complaint Wednesday about 6:40 a.m. Police said the issue is ongoing and officers are working to rectify it.

An officer on patrol reported a tree limb blocking the sidewalk on South Street about 1:22 a.m. Wednesday.

Police notified the Department of Public Works, which sent a crew to take care of the problem.

A burglar alarm sounded at the Rite Aid at Whistlestop Mall on Wednesday. The alarm was set off accidentally about 8 a.m., police said.

Police assisted a person locked out of a vehicle on King Street on Wednesday about 12:30 a.m.
