Gloucester — Priscilla M. Giovanni, 91, of Gloucester, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 12, 2012 at the Golden Living Center.
She was born in Gloucester on April 22, 1921, daughter of the late Celestine and Mary (Pittman) Giovanni. She attended St. Ann’s School. Priscilla worked at LePage’s for over 40 years in the silk screening department. She was a former member of the Elks Emblem Club #339. Priscilla will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews including special niece, Diane Taormina and her husband Peter of Gloucester; her sister-in-law, Margaret Giovanni of Kensington, Maryland; her brother-in-law, Clayton Brooks of Essex and her long time companion, Clifford Brennan of Gloucester.
She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Brooks and four brothers, Leo, Eugene, Celestine Jr. and Austin.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann’s Church, Holy Family Parish on Friday, September 14, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
There will be no visiting hours and the burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the VNA Network and Hospice, 8 Angle Street, Gloucester, MA 01930.Arrangements are by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester.
