Gloucester, MA — Roland Cotton Hall Sr., 77, of Gloucester, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013, after a brief illness.
Roland was born in New York City on October 20, 1935. He graduated from St. Mark’s School in 1953, and received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in 1957.
He lived in Marblehead, and worked in investment banking for many years in Boston. He also lived in Bermuda for a number of years. He was an avid Red Sox fan.
Roland is survived by his former wife, Nancy Johansen; and five of his children, Elizabeth, Catherine, Kristin, Roland, and Christopher. He was extremely proud of his 14 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carole Ann Murphy, and his beloved daughter, Linda Ann Aiello.
ARRANGEMENTS: A private family service will be held at a later date.
