Gloucester, MA — Beverly A. (Knight) Davis, 74, wife of the late Richard M. Davis, of Gloucester, died on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born in Stoneham, Mass., on July 6, 1939, daughter of the late John L. and Florence E. (Gray) Knight.
She was a graduate of Stoneham High School.
Beverly was a customer service representative at Xpedx in Wilmington.
Mrs. Davis enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to the beach and was an avid Patriots and Bruins fan.
She devoted her life to her family who she always put before herself.
Mrs. Davis is survived by 2 daughters, Kara A. Allen and Lori Davis, both of Gloucester; a granddaughter, Kaylee Allen of Gloucester who was the light of her life; a brother, Robert L. Knight and his wife, Roberta, of Wilmington; a sister-in-law, Beverly Davis of Stoneham; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, John L. Knight Jr. and his wife, Barbara; and a brother-in-law, Ronald W. Davis.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester, on Tuesday, August 13, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited.
The burial will be in Seaside Cemetery, Lanesville.
Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral home are on Monday, 4 to 8 p.m.
