Gloucester, MA — Stephen D. Malboeuf, 60, of Gloucester, Mass., died Monday, August 5, 2013, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Salem, Mass., on July 19, 1953, Steve was the son of the late Paul D. Malboeuf of Webster, Mass., and the late Ruth L. Malboeuf, of Salem, Mass. He grew up in Plymouth, Mich., and was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston.
Steve was the owner of Gloucester Rental Center (formerly Taylor Rental) which he opened in 1977.
Steve was a devoted father and husband. He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla; daughters, Jennifer Malboeuf Crampton and her husband, Nate, Lindsay Malboeuf and her husband, Hami Gendron, and Sarah Malboeuf. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul and his wife, Lynda, Richard and his wife, Farah, Michael and his wife, Claudette, and Mark and his wife, Kris; many nieces and nephews; and many well-loved friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Brianna Malboeuf.
He will be remembered by friends and family as a man who loved his family, and was hardworking, generous, and always willing to help others. He loved carpentry, motorcycles, boating, NASCAR and music. He will be keenly missed by all who knew him.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester, on Wednesday, August 14, from 4 to 7 p.m.
