Corinne A. Belanger, 53

Corinne A. (Cook) Belanger, 53, of Gloucester, wife of William G. Belanger III, passed away on Sunday morning, April 22, 2012, in the Lahey Clinic, in Burlington, MA.

Corinne was born in Gloucester, on March 8, 1959, the daughter of Ruth (Zager) Cook and the late Peter Cook.

She attended and graduated from Gloucester High School with the Class of 1977.

She had worked as a PCA (Personal Care Assistant) in the Gloucester area, starting out with her being employed at the Cardinal Cushing Villa, Greycliff Nursing Home, now The Golden Living Center and lately with the Stavros Agency. She also worked for the Cape Ann Medical Center.

Reading mysteries and romance novels was a relaxing time for Corinne. She loved watching her favorite horror and Zombie movies, whether for the first time or the tenth. She was also a big Celtics fan, now and in the past. She had collected much memorabilia from the Larry Bird and Robert Paris era.

She is survived by her husband, William; two sisters, Cynthia Cook of Colorado, Cathy Cook Shea and her husband Robert, of Cape Cod, two brothers, Chris Cook and Clifford Cook, both of Gloucester; mother-in-law, Mary Belanger Fuhs and her husband Paul of Rockport, sister-in-law, Dawn Bammarito and her husband, Thomas, brothers-in-law, Michael Belanger and his wife, Tonia, Gary Belanger and his wife, Robin, all of Gloucester; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Chad and Rachel Belanger, Thomas and Matthew Bammarito, Jamie Rynkowski, Aura, and great nephews Zach and Cody.

She was pre-deceased by her Dad, a sister-in-law Amy (Denglar) Cook, father–in-law, William G. Belanger II and a close friend, Cathy Muniz.

ARRANGEMENTS: There are no visiting hours and her burial will be held privately, so kindly omit flowers.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at The Elks Lodge, Atlantic Road, Gloucester, on Friday, April 27, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited.

Arrangements are by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester.
